John is a customer in our company hometown of Grand Junction, Colorado! He built this 30 x 50 steel building as a place to use as a combination workshop and garage. From storing his RV and other powersports toys to using the space to work on cars and tinker with other projects, this building truly does it all! With its high 16-foot eve height, this building provides more than adequate space to get the job done!
John was kind enough to join us for a video interview to talk about his building, his experience with Great Western Buildings, and how he’s loving his building!
John told us here at GWB that he and his wife had been on the hunt for a steel building manufacturer that was close by. Given that we’re located here in Grand Junction, they decided to make an un-announced pop-in to see how the sausage is made. He states that an unannounced visit is a great way to gain some serious insight into a company’s operation, and we’re thrilled to announce he was happy with what he saw.
“I told my wife, I said ‘let’s go stop in at the factory and see how it’s made’…within probably ten minutes after we were there we knew we were going to be buying the building and going with Great Western,” said John.
John also explained that the erection crew he hired out went above and beyond to ensure the building was going up as planned. Moreover, we’re thrilled to hear that the erection process took far less time than they had expected.
“Originally, I was looking at around a seven to 10 day construction period, and they got it done in about half that time. So, they just did a great job and were very meticulous in the whole process,” said John.
With Great Western’s bolt-together building systems, the process of going from delivery day to a finished and usable building can be much faster than one would think. Especially if you hire out a crew of folks who have put them up before!
