Clint, one of our customers from Bennett, Colorado, erected this 24 x 60 workshop on his property to maintain vehicles and stay off the dirt and out of the weather! In addition, he plans to allocate some of the space in the rear for model railroading. He joined us for a video interview to discuss his building and experience with the GWB team!
Clint talks about how his decision to erect a new building on his property was driven by a need for space. He planned on expanding a building that was already on his property but decided to change his plans and add a new one.
“I’ll be able to do, you know, oil changes and that stuff and don’t have to worry about rolling around in the dirt like I’ve been doing,” said Clint.
While that alone is a valuable benefit, Clint also plans to use the building as a space to expand one of his hobbies.
“I’ve been slowly getting back into model railroading. That’s basically why this building is as big as it is, because the first half of the building I’m going to use as a shop and then the back half I was going to build my model railroad layout,” Clint told GWB.
Clint said he worked with Troy from Great Western as his project manager to get the project to his liking. Ultimately, he landed on a 24 by 60-foot building with 12-foot walls and a large overhead door on the front. It’s a great and simple building providing ample interior space for almost anything!
