Glenn is a Great Western Buildings customer from Tenessee who loves sports and wanted to bring them all to the convenience of his home. He erected this 50 x 70 building, which he calls his barn, and packed it full of all kinds of goodies including a batting cage, golf simulator, weight training equipment, and more!
Glenn told GWB that he built this building primarily for his family to use. However, he is an avid golfer and certainly gets some use out of it, too!
“I’ve spent a bunch of time on the golf course. I lived on two golf courses, I was a member for many years and hit a lot of range balls and putted a lot, but now I can do all these fun things in my barn and I wouldn’t go back to the golf course for anything,” said Glenn.
On top of the golf simulator, he installed a batting gage with a tracking system as well as a football gun and gym equipment. It’s a great place for the family to gather and spend time having fun and getting some exercise.
Glenn told GWB that he did a lot of research in deciding who to go with for his building. He spoke with several companies before deciding to go with GWB.
“Great Western responded in a very nice way. They seemed to understand a lot better than anybody else exactly what I was looking for,” said Glenn.
He explains that he wanted a high roof pitch in the middle of the building and ultimately the design he landed on with GWB was the look he had envisioned.
