“Everybody was just impressed with the quality of the work and the way everything fit together.”
Tim and his wife have a unique Great Western Buildings experience for several reasons. For one, their agricultural steel building has some pretty substantial customization and distinctive features. Namely, the back of the building has a full-length lean-to, a wraparound porch, and an overhang up front. Furthermore, their project is unique because they documented the entire erection on Tim’s YouTube channel, Dach’s Autos.
Tim says they were happy with the flexibility of our team here at Great Western.
“I just think the options that we had was a big key, and Great Western worked with us really well to add on that lean-to kind of last second right before we finalized our plans,” said Tim.
Tim says that not many people in their area are building steel. However, after years of searching, they ultimately decided to go with Great Western.
“I think we look for about three years at buildings between online and horse expos and whatnot. We just came to the decision that a steel building, for our needs, was great. We weren’t encumbered by roof trusses, so we could have a really high ceiling…we really could build anything that we wanted to build,” said Tim.
Tim says that they had a few helping hands with the erection of their Great Western Building. In addition, he reports that everyone was impressed with the quality.
“Whether it was the electrical guys or whoever came by, even neighbors, they were very impressed with the building overall from Great Western…There was not a single instance when we put up the building we had to massage any of the holes for bolts to fit or shim anything. Everything dropped right into place. There were no issues during any of the construction process,” Tim continued.
Overall, Tim and his wife have a phenomenally unique building, and we’re more than happy to have been a part of it!
