Eric founded Great Western Building Systems in 2016 with the vision that he could provide a quality product and superior customer service at a reasonable price. Eric began his career in metal buildings as a sales representative in Denver, CO, in 2002. From there, he learned to design and erect metal buildings. He believes that anyone can learn to assemble their own building with clear instructions and resources.
Nicole became the General Manager when Great Western Building Systems was founded in 2016. Ms. Hertzberg began her career in supply chain management in 2006 and entered the steel industry in 2015. She loves working in the steel and metal building industry because of the great people she works with and she loves helping customers realize their dream buildings.
Tyler was named the Vice President of Operations in 2019 after serving as Director of Project Management since 2017. Mr. Doty began his career in steel building dealer sales in 2014 and quickly expanded to project management.
Kermit became the Plant Manager of our Grand Junction facility in 2023 after serving as the Assistant to the Plant Manager beginning in 2022. Kermit got his start in the steel industry as a welder in 2016, and moved up the ranks in his previous roles until he became a Plant Superintendent.
