While we’ve featured multiple religious buildings from our customers in the past, this building that is part of the Pineridge Baptist Church in Georgia is a bit unique. Instead of it being the primary location for the congregation to gather, this building was erected to host social gatherings for their growing congregation. They went with a 60 x 100 steel building from Great Western and joined us for an interview to talk about their project.
“We had to decided to build a social hall, basically, so we could eat fried chicken,” said Rich from Pineridge Baptist.
Rich explained to GWB that Pineridge Baptist Church was about to celebrate its 74th year of homecoming. They had a small social gathering hall that was capable of seating around 50 people, but wanted to expand. The new building is set up to accept seating for more than 200 people.
